    Most Frequently Used App

As a professor, an author, and a consultant, maintaining balance and focus are key to me. A full night sleeping is pretty important, too. I find myself using this app multiple times throughout the day to help with my productivity and at night to help with peaceful sleeping. It has become an critical component for helping maintain my productivity levels.

I have never write a review and felt compelled to tell you this app is incredible. After the first two nights of sleeping with Endel I woke up more calm and remained that way for a lot of the day. The hibernation setting is great for chilling at night before bed. Then switch to the sleep setting. It is really weird to me that this is able to have such an impact on my actual life just using sound. 🤩

Helps with my ADHD brain and insomnia

All I can say is - wow. I used the app for the first time last night after really struggling to sleep, saw the ad and downloaded it (I usually ignore ads but for some reason the ad on this app really caught my pique). I love how minimal but unique the application is. The moving patterns are beautiful as well. I managed to sleep immediately yesterday and I actually played it throughout the night and had a wonderful night sleep. It helped calm my racing thoughts at night and I was surprised at how easy it was to fall asleep.

Highly skeptical, made me a believer

I am highly skeptical of anything making claims like this app does, but I tried it and I'm actually blown away to the point where I HAD to leave a review, which I almost never do. I thought best case scenario it may help with my sleep but I was sure it would be minimal or the difference wouldn't be noticeable, but both me and my girl have used it falling asleep for a couple nights in a row now, and all I can say is wow. Fall asleep faster, stay asleep longer, wake up feeling GREAT, and the difference we have felt is truly measurable and more than noticeable, it's profound. Well done

    What's wrong with it?

I have always had a hard time sleeping, and with me being anemic it makes it harder, and the first time I tried this I had such a good night of sleep! I woke up even before my alarm! I recommend it to anyone and everyone! This app works miracles!

    Perfect sleep sound

The sleep sound is perfect. Sleep sounds never work for me, they always end up being more of a distraction. This however is perfect. It starts with a gentle tune to que your brain to relax then proceeds to a very soft white noise—loud enough to break the silence but quiet enough that you don't notice it. It's quite remarkable. My seven year old daughter also sleeps better with this. I highly recommend it for this feature alone. But the Move soundscape is also quite incredible—great for walks when you need to get yourself grounded and centered.

FAQ

The Endel app has two main forms of audio content — Soundscapes and Scenarios. Soundscapes are endlessly generated on the device following your local inputs — weather, time of day, cadence of your walks, and heart rate (if you’re wearing your Apple Watch), and others.Learn more about the inputs.

Scenarios are sound sessions with predefined logic (initial, middle, and end phases are defined and pre-generated for the timer you set). They are designed to be used for a particular task or life occasion in a timed session.

The Endel's sound is tuned to 440 hertz. It's the so-called natural order, where the relationships between the intervals are as simple for the brain to process as possible. According to research, it helps reduce the cognitive load in perceiving musical information.

There is a Binaural Beats Scenario in the app. The other sounds don’t use this technology. Binaural waves at the physical level work exclusively in stereo headphones, make sure you wear them when you use the Binaural Beats Scenario.

If you have any issues with the Endel app function or with your subscription or have any questions about Endel, you can contact our support via a form in the app or by reaching out to us: ask@endel.io.

Paid subscription model is a necessary format for us to keep maintaining and developing Endel continually. The subscription price includes our work on updates — not only do we fix bugs and improve our products’ technical performance gradually, but also consistently add new sounds, features, and user experience improvements, based on user research and with the best interest of the Endel community in mind.

The circadian and ultradian cycles are scientifically backed theories of daily energy levels. In an ideal situation, it would be advisable to follow the rhythms: rest on low phases, and be active on high phases of the cycles. But it is hard to accommodate in modern everyday life. Which is why the Endel app can also help you mitigate the negative influence of the cycles with sound.

For example, when you play Focus during a low period of the circadian cycle, you’ll notice that the sound is still stimulating for concentration, but not as intense and driving as during the highs, to help you ease into the work you need to do at that moment, instead of pushing you too hard.

Millions of happy users and their feedback in endless reviews and messages attest to the efficiency of Endel’s sound. However, sound perception is a very subjective matter, and we fully admit that Endel may not work for everyone in the same way. We base all of our Soundscapes and Scenarios design on scientific research, and there is peer-reviewed research that backs the efficiency of Endel’s sound compared to playlists and silence.
